Conlan abú

In this blog I shall relate the history and genealogy of the many families from which I descend, - Moore, Sheffield, Taylor, Stephens, Kinney, Wages, Hoge, Waters, Cunningham, Huckaba, Stinson, Gibson, Bates, Wingfield, Howe, Cromwell, Scrope, Seymour, Howard, Boleyn, and so on. I also hope to intercat with others researching these families. The blog's name derives from the meaning of the Irish name Mordahr, "stately and proud" from which Moore is believed to derive. The title of this post, conlan abú, - "heroes forever," is the Moore family motto.
